Jedify Data Agents Turn Plain English Into AI Analysts

Jedify has launched Data Agents, a new product that lets teams build autonomous analysts using plain language instead of code or workflow builders. The agents monitor business metrics, investigate changes, and run recurring analyses on their own, and the product is available now through Jedify’s Agents Hub.

Traditional business intelligence usually means analysts defining questions in advance and building dashboards to answer them, or generic AI assistants guessing at meaning from raw tables and database schemas. Jedify takes a different route: its context graph already understands an organization’s metrics, relationships, and business rules, so agents reason from that resolved context rather than exploring raw data at query time. The company says this also uses far fewer tokens per question.

Data Agents can run on demand, on a schedule, or when a defined condition is met, so a team can set up a recurring analysis once and have the findings delivered. When a metric moves, the agent investigates the likely drivers and flags what needs attention. Agents are permission-aware by default, inheriting the requesting user’s existing data access, and they can be exposed through MCP as tools inside Claude, ChatGPT, Slack, or other agent platforms, with results delivered by Slack or email.

The product targets both data teams, who can stop rebuilding the same dashboards on request, and business users in finance, revenue operations, customer success, product, and sales, who can describe the question they want investigated in plain language. Jedify cites early customers whose agents flagged uncovered markets and surfaced a cost line moving 10 percent in a month.

For teams weighing analytics platforms, our listings for Tableau and ThoughtSpot offer useful context on how established tools handle dashboards and search-driven analysis, while Jedify’s approach pushes further toward agents that do the investigating themselves.
