Casap Raises $56M to Expand AI for Bank Disputes

Casap, the AI agent platform for financial services, has raised $56 million in a Series B round led by Base10 Partners, with strategic participation from Experian and Synchrony. Existing investors including Emergence Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners also took part, bringing Casap’s total funding to $90 million just over a year after its $25 million Series A.

The agents apply each institution’s own policies, work across its existing systems, escalate judgment-sensitive decisions to people, and keep an auditable record of every action.

The company says revenue has grown tenfold since the Series A, more than double its original target, and that it now works with more than 100 banks, credit unions, fintechs, and processors. The new capital will fund expansion beyond disputes into fraud, collections, claims, and complex exceptions, areas where fragmented systems and manual investigations currently drive losses and delays.

The results Casap reports from its customers are striking, though they are company-reported figures rather than independently verified. They include up to a 51 percent reduction in first-party fraud losses, a 96 percent chargeback win rate against a 60 percent industry average, resolution times cut from as long as 90 days to 8 days, and 73 percent of dispute cases resolved through agentic automation with human oversight retained. Human processing time per case has reportedly fallen from about 45 minutes to 1 to 2 minutes.

The round is another sign of how quickly agentic AI is moving from experiment to core operations in regulated industries, following the same wave that has made agent platforms such as ChatGPT and Claude part of everyday work.
