Reston-based predictive intelligence company Resonate has launched Resonate Digital Twins, a new AI product that answers brand and campaign questions using a synthetic panel of digital “twins” modelled on real consumers. The company says the system is grounded in directly collected data and predictions from more than 250 million ID-matched adults in the United States.
According to Resonate, the platform can field questions that have never been asked before and return an audience that marketers or political campaigns can target with paid media within five days. The company argues that traditional research is slow and costly, survey response rates have collapsed, and generic AI tools only produce population-level answers with no real individuals behind them.
The dataset behind Digital Twins includes more than 100 million responses to Resonate’s ongoing US Consumer Study, over 30 billion daily observed behaviours, and more than 15,000 attributes. Each twin answers in its own words so buyers can see the reasoning, and Resonate claims its synthetic answers land within five to ten points of real fielded research, averaging a 93% match in head-to-head testing.
Early results include work for the agency Wpromote x Giant Spoon on a luxury brand, and data used in a $5 million campaign for New York’s 12th congressional primary, where the Resonate-backed candidate outperformed projections by more than five points, the company said.
For marketers already using AI writing and research tools such as Copy.ai and Jasper, Digital Twins targets the next step: turning insight directly into an addressable audience instead of a static report. See our Jasper vs Copy.ai comparison for how the two writing tools differ.
