Nevis, a startup building an AI operating system for wealth management, has closed a $70 million Series B round led by EQT Ventures, taking its total funding to $110 million just two years after it was founded.
The round drew participation from Charles Schwab, Sequoia Capital, ICONIQ, QuantumLight and Ribbit Capital. EQT Ventures partner Carolina Brochado will join the company’s board.
Nevis pulls together CRM, meeting intelligence, financial planning and custodial workflows into a single platform, with AI agents carrying out operational work from end to end. Founder and chief executive Mark Swan says advice will always stay human-led, with AI there to give advisors more capacity rather than replace them.
The company says advisors using the platform save up to 10 hours a week and can open client accounts in days instead of weeks. Assets on the platform have grown from $50 billion to more than $700 billion in a year, revenue has risen more than 25-fold, and its agents have completed over 100,000 tasks for clients including Focus Financial Partners and IEQ Capital.
The fresh capital will fund further development of Nevis’s AI agents across the wealth management technology stack, as firms look for ways to close a growing advisor capacity gap.
As general-purpose assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude reshape knowledge work, Nevis shows how the same technology is being packaged for regulated, high-trust professions. If you are weighing the leading assistants, our ChatGPT vs Claude comparison breaks down where each one shines.
