Chery’s AiMOGA Opens Global Pre-Orders for Mobo Home Robot

Humanoid robots are leaving the lab, and now one is heading for the living room. AiMOGA Robotics, the robotics brand of Chery Group, has launched Mobo, its first consumer-grade humanoid robot designed for home companionship, with global pre-orders opening now.

The announcement came at the 2026 EXEED International User Summit in Wuhu, China, running October 18 to 23. Mobo has already appeared at the World Robot Conference and the World Manufacturing Convention, but this marks its formal global debut.

Powered by AiMOGA’s proprietary MoAgent AI system, Mobo is designed to interpret complex instructions, break them into actionable steps, and plan longer-term tasks instead of just responding to single commands. It combines spatial perception with multimodal interaction, recognizing objects and family members, using voice and visual context, and navigating homes with dynamic obstacle avoidance. A full-body, 22-degree-of-freedom motion system enables expressive gestures, stable movement, and even dance routines. The robot is also designed to remember individual family members’ habits and preferences, with privacy protection built in from the start.

Chery says the launch extends its automotive-grade engineering and supply chain into intelligent living. Voice-driven AI companions are moving fast, and conversational tools like Speak and ELSA Speak show where the interaction layer is heading.
