Strawberry Launches AI Agent Platform for Teams

Strawberry has launched version 1.0 of its AI agent platform, built for non-technical teams in sales, recruiting, customer support, and marketing. The platform is free to try, and it lets users create virtual colleagues, called AI companions, that work alongside people rather than simply answering one prompt at a time.

The idea is a shift in how teams use AI at work. Chatbots such as ChatGPT and Claude typically take a prompt and complete a single task. Strawberry says its companions instead operate inside a browser, where a team context, workflows, and logins already live. A companion remembers how a team works and improves as it works with that team over time.

That shared memory is the core pitch. Today, skill with an AI assistant often stays on one person laptop. Strawberry argues that training a companion once should benefit the whole team, with everyone getting access to what it has learned. The company positions the browser as the new front line for AI at work, where daily tasks actually happen.

Strawberry, based in Stockholm, has raised 6 million dollars in funding from EQT and General Catalyst. The company plans to follow this launch with a Series A funding round, although it has not announced a size or timing for that round. For teams struggling to turn promising AI demos into everyday habits, a tool that fits existing workflows may matter more than raw model power.
